Salmon Creek Ranch is a small, family owned and operated 200+ acre ranch on the Sonoma County coast, about 90 minutes north of San Francisco and
2 miles from the sea. We offer pasture raised, grass-fed Muscovy duckling, certified organic by California Certified Organic Farmers.
Our ducks spend their days sampling natural grasses, hunting for bugs and relaxing in the sun in a rotational grazing situation. We use Anatolian Shepherds to guard them day and night from the many predators who flourish on this isolated stretch of California coast. At 10-12 weeks old, they are harvested at a USDA/Certified Organic facility and immediately vacuum packed to retain freshness. Whole duckling, breast/wing quarters and leg/thigh quarters are available for ranch pick up, local delivery or can be shipped within the U.S.
We also offer certified organic duck eggs and can ship anywhere in the U.S. via Priority Mail. We use special reinforced cartons to reduce breakage and will issue a credit on your next order if any eggs do arrive damaged.
We occasionally have goat meat available from our closed herd of New Zealand Kikos who forage freely on certified organic pasture. No hormones or growth enhancers are ever given to any of our animals.
